One of the most praised neighbourhoods in Paris, Montmartre is set on a hill in the north of Paris and lovers will find a view of the city like no other from here. Everything here is very typically French – the narrow winding streets, lined with small cafes that offer an overwhelming smell of amazing coffee which exchanges itself for the smell of fine wine in the evening. Salvador Dali, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso and Vincent van Gogh were just a few well-renowned artists who had studios or worked in this beautiful Parisian neighbourhood.
