The Louvre

Before you have even ventured into the amazing Louvre museum you will be awe-struck by its architecture.  From the first time you set eyes on the Mona Lisa you will understand why this is one of the must-see places for any Paris tourist.

The Eiffel Tower at night

Erected in 1889, this amazing attraction is sometimes best seen at night.  As you wander around through the streets of Paris you will often be able to catch a glimpse of it through the trees or buildings.  A visit to the top observation deck will most certainly take your breath away.

River Seine tour

Make sure you take a riverboat tour of Paris along the Seine.  Passing famous landmarks, such as Notre-Dame cathedral and the Eiffel Tower, it really is a splendid way to view this romantic city.  But make sure you bring layers, it can get rather chilly along the river.

Notre-Dame

This breathtaking cathedral was almost destroyed during the revolution.  A magnificent gothic masterpiece that is over 130 metres in length.  Another amazing sight to see in the evening glow of the Paris night sky.

Sacre-Coeur

Why not take in the Parisienne scenery from the steps of the Sacre-Coeur?  Built as a memorial for the 60,000 French soldiers that died in the Franco-Prussia war, it really offers a unique and spectacular view of Paris.  Make sure you stay for the sunsets, they are truly out of this world.

Don’t forget, if you have the time there is plenty of other amazing sights to behold in Paris.  From the Musee d’Orsay to the Arc de Triomphe and the Pantheon to the Hotel de Invalides.  Paris offers culture galore and hopefully these travel ideas will make your stay in Paris as memorable as possible!
